Love Thy Self


 In today's times there are so many people ranting and raving about self love... (lol people like me), but in all seriousness loving yourself is well worth it. Sometimes I forget that I come first though. I get caught up in the circumstances and not the bigger picture which happens to the best of us, but that bounce back is what it's all about.

There have been times in my life that have completely left my heart in shreds to the point where I looked in the mirror and didn't recognize the person in it. To be even more real with you guys i'm actually going through a situation that has me lacking love for myself now, but see lucky for me i've been here before so I can weather through the storm. I know that God is going to see me through and at the end I will blossom and be met with blessings. This is the same reality for all of us you just have to believe it. I am a believer that I am weathering through this setback so that I can tell you guys to listen to that TINY voice within because she is right. She will always be right every time no matter the severity of the situation. She's the one who tells you to stay in and take it easy when your girls beg you to come out. She's the one who will lead you to the destiny god promised. I stopped listening to her many times before and have always ended up empty and set back, but I now know to never abandon her because she is me! 


Reminder: To find a peace of mind you have to let go of emotion and listen to logic. Love yourself first today and forever... Happy Valentine's Day Mami!!!!!!!

Walk by faith

"walk by faith" is a phrase that we hear on a daily, but what does it really mean? To me walking by faith is standing strong in your convictions and pushing forward no matter what your circumstances are. It took a while for me to build my faith to where it is now and it is still growing daily. There are definitely situations that break me down and make me question God, but I had to realize that everything im going through is really for the betterment of my journey and making me stronger.  Some things that I do to keep my faith are going to God instead of people because ultimately every human is going through their own storms and there is nothing that another human can do to bring you eternal happiness. I use to think that people can give you happiness and love, but actually, you can only create those things with people, they cant give it to you. Party of One

I sometimes dislike the times we live in now, because it is driven by "perfection".  On social media, all you see is the green side of people's lives, but we all know that there are some dry patches behind that camera. Seeing people live luxuriously all the time can cause some of us to chase other peoples dreams for all the wrong reasons. As well, it can cause some people to lose their authenticity.
